Minimum Training Requirements
16 Hours Per Routine: Dedicate at least 16 hours of training per routine, blending online learning with in-person workshops. This is the minimum amount of hours required for assessment.
4-Hour In-Person Workshop: Focused on refining technical features, which you can attend multiple times for mastery.
4-Hour Routine-Specific Workshop: Learn and review the short assessment routine with music, preparing for certification assessments.
The remaining training hours can be completed online through guided sessions, videos, and instructional resources.
Certification and Assessments
Flexible Routine Mastery: While knowing all routines is ideal for teaching, you are only required to master one routine to begin teaching. This allows a phased approach to becoming proficient in all sequences.
Assessment Flexibility: Choose the sequence and order of routines for assessment based on your preparedness and preference. Assessments include a shorter, simplified presentation routine mandated by the IHQF for efficiency.
Assessment Fees: Fees apply for each assessment level, structured according to the complexity and certification tier.
Teaching Workshops
Intensive Teaching Training: Enroll in a 4-day (split over 2 weekends) intensive workshop, 8 hours per day, designed to equip you with the skills needed to teach Health Qigong effectively.

Expanded and Detailed Assessment Procedure
Step 1: Booking the Assessment
Eligibility to Book:
Ensure you have completed the short version of the choreographed routine set to music.
Confirm that you are ready to perform as per the required standards.
Booking Process:
Select your preferred mode of assessment:
In-person: Attend the assessment at a designated physical venue.
Online via livestream: Join a real-time, live-streamed assessment session.
Upon booking, you will receive confirmation of the assessment’s date and time.
Step 2: Trainer Skills Assessment
Assessment Requirements:
Present the routine exactly as prescribed by the International Health Qigong Federation (IHQF) and the South African Health Qigong Association (SAHQA).
Adhere to all technical and performance standards for the routine.
Outcomes:
Pass: Successfully demonstrate the routine and meet the technical standards.
Fail: If unsuccessful on the first attempt, you will have the opportunity for a re-assessment:
A re-assessment date will be provided.
The re-assessment will be offered at a lower cost.
Step 3: Certification Assessment
Technical Standards Evaluation:
Achieve a passing score based on the technical features outlined in the routine.
Scores will determine certification eligibility for Pre-Duan Levels 1, 2, or 3, depending on your previous merit level.
Scoring Categories:
Technical exams are classified into five categories:

Evaluation will follow the Regulations for Health Qigong Competitions (draft) approved by the Chinese Health Qigong Association (CHQA) in 2017.
Step 4: Examination Process
Requirements for Candidates:
Wear attire tailored to IHQF requirements.
Use the specified practice equipment.
Follow all examination venue rules, whether in-person or livestreamed.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
All assessments will be video-recorded to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Assessment data, evaluation forms, and video recordings will be:
Maintained in original form for a minimum of three years.
Available for spot-checks by the IHQF Technical Committee.
